CEPT was initially established and managed by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES). In 1994, an independent trustee and a society was formed the Society of the CEPT. CEPT is registered as a public company and Charitable Trust. CEPT has been registered under the Companies if registered Society / Company / Other Registration Act 1860 with the Wizard. Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad region, Ahmedabad, vide registration number Guj/4185 / Ahmedabad dated January 24, 1994.
