Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation is an autonomous body created in 1982 by the Department of Environment and Forests, Government of Gujarat. The Foundation has been registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act of India 1860, and as a public good under the Public Trust Act, 1950 Bombay.
