Petronet LNG Ltd, one of the fastest growing world class companies in the Indian energy sector, has launched in the country s LNG receiving and regasification terminal at Dahej, Gujarat, and is under construction another terminal at Kochi, Kerala. While the Dahej terminal has a nominal capacity of 10 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) [equivalent to 40 million standard cubic meters per day (MMSCMD) of natural gas], the Kochi terminal will have a capacity of 2.5 MMTPA (equivalent to 10 MMSCMD of natural gas).
