Position	Pay Scale	Qualification
Assistant Professor on contract / Assistant Professor	PB-3 (Rs.15, 600 - 39,100/-) with AGP of Rs. 8,000/-	A fresh Ph.D with first class or equivalent.
Associate Professor	PB-4 (Rs.37,400 - 67,000/-) with AGP of Rs. 9,500/-	Ph.D with first class or equivalent and a minimum of six years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professors, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
Professor	PB-4 (Rs.37, 400 - 67,000/-) with AGP of Rs. 10,500/-	Ph.D with first class or equivalent and a minimum of ten years experience of which at least four  years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent.
