Madhya Pradesh is one of the largest states in the Republic of India. The state is marked with a complex social structure, a predominantly agrarian economy, difficult terrain and difficult access, and large area scattered settlements which together represent a number of serious problems for service delivery systems. According to the 2001census, Madhya Pradesh has a population of about 60 million dollars, which is about 6% percent of the population.
