Baroda Rajasthan Gramin Bank, sponsored by the Bank of Baroda, was established by the Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 23A of the Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 (21 1976) by the issuance of Gazette Notification No. FN No. 1 (26) / 2005-RRB dated 03/02/2006, to amalgamate ie 5 Regional Rural banks.
