The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, was established in October 20.1995 by an Act of the Legislature Haryana.The State University enjoys a rare distinction of being recognized by the Scholarship Committee of the University under the Section 2 (f) for recognition of degrees, and the 01/11/1996, under Article 12 (b) of the UGC Act to be eligible for central assistance on 02/07/1997, ie within 15 months of its entry into force.
